Talk Therapy
Please note: The APS National Schedule of Recommended Fees 2024 has the standard 46 to 60-minute consultation fee at $300. To keep my fees affordable I remain below the Australian Psychological Society's recommendation.
$200 for a standard session
$180 for a health care card holder
You will be eligible for a rebate of $137.05 if you have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.
If you are experiencing financial hardship you may be eligible for bulk billed sessions through Head to Health. Please ask your GP for more information.
Cancellations
Appointments need to be cancelled with at least 48 hours notice.
It is not my preferred option to invoice for missed appointments or late cancellations, but in fairness to others on the wait list, and the acknowledgement of my time, notice is required or a $150 cancellation fee will be charged. Please be aware that this fee will not be rebated by Medicare, as medicare will only pay for appointments that are attended.
If on the day you realise that for some reason you cannot in attend in person, you are very welcome to complete your session by phone or internet. This also will avoid any late fee, and means you can still attend your session.
Letters
Short letters may be completed in session.
Longer letters or documents will be charged at $110 to allow time for reviewing history and treatment.
